Nav Bars

A rail of short bars for a page's sections or a thread's turns, marking what's in view. Hover for a list, a peek at one item, or a rail that expands into labels.

Install

Add the registry to components.json, then install a component by name. Each one brings the pieces it depends on with it.

Theme

The theme ships as one stylesheet. Swap its colour tokens for your own and every component follows, in light and dark.

Compose

Components build on each other. The composer takes a model selector, attachments and a send button, and each works on its own too.

Stream a reply

Pass the reply as it arrives. Stream text writes it out word by word at a steady pace, whatever the model's own rhythm.

Ship

Every item is a file in your project, so you can change anything. Nothing updates underneath you.

Installation

The command adds the @aiellie registry to components.json on its first run. With it there, shadcn installs it too: npx shadcn@latest add @aiellie/nav-bars.
